THE PARENT RESOURCE CENTER
The NC Parent Resource Center was created by Families in Action, and established to promote and expand parent-centered child and adolescent substance abuse prevention. Our mission is to support parents, schools, and communities, as well as public and private agencies and organizations, who desire to increase parent involvement in the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use by children and adolescents.

FUNDING
The Office of Prevention and Early Intervention of the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services provides core support for the Parent Resource Center.
